Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey LLP is pleased to announce James K. Robertson, litigation attorney, has been elected to the Connecticut Junior Republic Board of Directors.
The Connecticut Junior Republic was founded in 1904 and has helped thousands of at-risk, special needs and troubled young people lead productive and fulfilled lives by providing the care, treatment and educational services necessary for growth and change.
Earning notable recognition from clients and peers for his professional and community leadership, Robertson is an elected Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He has been recognized in Benchmark Litigation, Chambers USA, Top 50 Superlawyers and Best Lawyers in America.
Robertson has been first chair in over 50 jury trials and 100 court trials in state and federal courts. He serves as national coordinating counsel of product liability claims for numerous manufacturers, and is frequently selected as a special master, arbitrator and mediator. Jim has served as a Superior Court judge and as the firm's Managing Partner. He is an ordained Congregational Minister and serves as the Associate Minister of the Watertown Congregational Church.
