John Yarbrough is a partner in Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey's Real Estate Group.
He has substantial experience representing issuers, underwriters, and borrowers in a number of tax-exempt financings involving projects for schools, hospitals, child care facilities, life care facilities, housing, colleges, and universities.
He also has extensive experience in commercial real estate transactions, for purchases, sales, leases and other real estate matters. This often involves work for public utilities in connection with electric generating plants, electric transmission line projects, and related infrastructure property.
He also has more than 30 years' experience in representing Connecticut towns and cities, including service as town attorney, with respect to a broad range of matters, especially those involving land use law and permitting. That experience is also helpful for clients who need zoning or other permits or who have other dealings with municipalities in connection with their business or building projects.
John is able to bring this experience to bear to help our clients reach their goals in straightforward or complex transactions, expeditiously and at a reasonable cost.
