Based on the success of our Human Resources Roundtable Breakfast Series over the last several years, we are pleased to announce that we will again offer the series in 2017.
The series includes six one-hour informal and engaging roundtable discussions with our experienced labor and employment attorneys on common and challenging employment and HR issues.
These interactive sessions are designed to provide you an opportunity to learn and discuss strategies for minimizing legal exposure. You will also have an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with other professionals in a relaxed, informal environment.
Topics That We Will Cover
We will have a facilitated discussion at each session about a particular subject area and will provide, when appropriate, sample policies, forms and other written materials. We may invite outside speakers to facilitate the discussion.
The tentative schedule and topics for the sessions is below. Please note that the schedule is tentative in anticipation of noteworthy developments that appear likely to occur under the Trump administration.
September 28: | How to Conduct Meaningful HR Audits |
December 7: | To Be Determined by the Group |
Who Should Attend
The sessions are designed principally for Human Resources professionals and in-house counsel. Some sessions, however, may be of interest to other company departments such as workplace diversity, corporate compliance, and information technology.
Agenda and Location
The sessions will be presented from our Waterbury office, but individuals may also participate by video conference in our New Haven and Stamford offices. We will provide a complimentary continental breakfast in each office from 8:00 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. The roundtable discussion will be from 8:15 a.m. until 9:15 a.m.

Attendees may register for any one or more of the six sessions at the price of $65 per session or for all six sessions at the discounted price of $300. Space will be limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is important to register as soon as possible.
